PREPERATION AND TRAINING
For those who have not participated in this sort of Challenge before, here are some tips.
What do I need to bring?
Come prepared for any sort of weather. The last few years have seen blistering hot sunshine to torrential downpours. So a towel, spare socks, talcum powder, a hat, wet weather clothing are all essential. Additionally, bring a torch, the Ordnance Survey Explorer Map 225 (which covers most of the route - we will supply the northern most bit round Warboys), First Aid Kit and Water.
Training
You will need to build up your strength and stamina, so your training regime should point in that direction. It should also include plenty of Walking, increasing the distance covered at one time, till you cover a good three quarters of the Walk distance.
